The user interface for Synthesis applications is available in several languages. If that language is supported in Synthesis, Synthesis will use those settings; however, if that language is not supported, Synthesis will use the default setting of English. Dates and times appear frequently throughout the Synthesis interface, including but not limited to :. The Created and Modified dates in many diagrams and in resources in all Synthesis Elements. The first time that a user uses a Remote Desktop Connection to log on to a server that has Terminal Server enabled, a new profile is created. The new profile inherits the Regional and Language Options settings from the default user profile.

The profile may be local to the terminal server or may reside on a network share. However, the Default input language setting is obtained from the client computer that initiated the Remote Desktop Connection.

Numbers, times, dates, and currency are displayed differently in different parts of the world, and the Regional and Language Options dialog see Figure allows you to choose your display preferences in painful detail.
